Duncan Ferris is DMR's longest standing team rider. He has been with the brand since nearly the beginning and is a 4X racing legend. We caught up with him to check out his one-off 4X Trailstar build at the newly opened 417 project in Gloucester.
Duncan has been working on the 417 project alongside his team at Architrail and Claudio Calouri from Velosolutions. We spent some time riding with Dunc on the newly Tarmacced indoor pumptrack.
'When I first saw the Trailstar I was worried that the 27.5" wheels might make it feel a little sluggish. I'm one round into the series now and can assure you its FAST!'
Duncan went for the Small size Trailstar frame as its top tube length was the closest to his old Omen racebike.
