Warranty


All DMR frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase, except aluminium frames which are guaranteed for three years. Paint and decals defects are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. For parts and accessories such as pedals, grips, bars and stems the warranty is one year. These limited warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear, claimed defects, malfunctions or failures that result from abuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper maintenance, alteration, collision, crash or misuse. Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for use with or compatible with DMR frames and components will void any warranty offered by DMR Bikes. DMR warranty applies to the original purchaser only, and applies to DMR frames or products purchased from an authorised dealer only. DMR warranty applies to the original date of purchase of the product, and does not restart/extend if a replacement product is provided during the guarantee period.


All DMR frames or products that you would like to have inspected for warranty should be first dealt with by the authorised DMR dealer where you originally purchased the frame or product from. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are against the retailer, i.e. the company that sold you the product, not the manufacturer or distributor, so you must take any claim to the retailer. If there is a valid case, then the frame or product will be sent to us (Upgrade Bikes – parent company of DMR Bikes) for further inspection and outcome. No warranty claims will be considered without proof of purchase of the frame or product.


For the warranty periods described above, Upgrade Bikes will repair or replace the defective part, at its option, without charge for the part or the repair. Refurbished parts may be used for repairs or replacements. Parts used for replacement, whether new or refurbished, are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. In the event of a part replacement, Upgrade Bikes cannot guarantee a colour match to the original frame or component.


To obtain warranty service, the original owner must pay all labour and transportation charges associated with the repair or replacement of all parts under this warranty. Under no circumstance does this limited warranty include the cost of travel or shipment to and from an authorized DMR dealer.


Crash Replacement / Expired Warranty


If you are the original owner and your warranty has now expired, you've damaged your DMR frame or product in an accident or crash, Upgrade Bikes may make replacement parts available at a discounted price.


All DMR frames or products that you would like to have inspected for crash replacement or expired warranty, should be first dealt with by the authorised DMR dealer where you originally purchased the frame or product. If there is a case, then the frame or product will be sent to Upgrade Bikes (parent company of DMR Bikes) for further inspection and outcome.


If Upgrade Bikes offers a crash replacement or non-warranty replacement, the defective item must be returned to and become the property of Upgrade Bikes.
