For the best start on two wheels, we’ve tailored our brand new DMR Sidekick bikes in a range of three sizes, to give young riders the best possible introduction to bikes and cycling, DMR style!

Bikes are better than ever, but why should adults get all the fun?! Bikes in the Sidekick range feature Mullet wheel sizes (Balance/Pedal models), perfect geometry and customised componentry specification.
These all give real world benefits to deliver bikes that are easier to ride, safer and most importantly, more fun!
Mullet wheels feature on the two smallest bikes in the range –
Balance and
Pedal. This gives heaps of stand over height enabling them to be ridden safely at an earlier age. The larger front wheel gives stability, and they roll over bumps more easily.
We’ve spent time perfecting the bike’s geometry. Head angles, fork rake and rear stays have been optimised for stability. Slack seat angles and increased BB drops mean little riders can more easily get a good amount of foot on the floor when at rest, whilst retaining correct leg extension when pedalling.
Spec wise, riders are treated to properly proportioned bars, grips, DMR saddles, lightweight aluminium frames and proper, off-road capable, tyres. The two biggest bikes (
Pedal and
Ride) also feature junior specific Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, short cranks, smaller pedals and enclosed Hebie chainguards to give full ISO 8098 compliance.
